Transfer Talk: Red Devils want Osimhen and Dybala at Old Trafford

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is high on Manchester United’s wanted list this summer.

The Nigerian, 23, would cost United £83million — but reports in Italy suggest they would be happy to pay that amount.

New boss Erik ten Hag will oversee a busy first window at Old Trafford as he looks to overhaul a misfiring squad.

A new striker is near the top of their list with Cristiano Ronaldo likely to be the only recognised centre forward at the club next term.

And Osimhen is expected to attract interest from around Europe after netting 26 goals in 58 games since moving to Napoli in 2020.

He has missed time this campaign with a fractured cheekbone, yet still managed 12 Serie A strikes as Napoli battle for the title alongside leaders AC Milan and champions Inter Milan.

And Osimhen may not be the only star currently plying their trade in Italy to move to Old Trafford this summer.

Argentine playmaker Paulo Dybala will depart Juventus when his contract ends in June.

Italian media reports suggest that amid widespread interest from Premier League sides, Ten Hag’s appointment puts United at the front of the queue.

And as the Red Devils continue to dominate the rumour mill, Football Insider say that Arsenal have registered an interest in Marcus Rashford.

The 24-year-old has only scored five times all season after failing to find the back of the net in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea last night.

Football Insider believe that Tottenham will listen to offers for Spanish left-back Sergio Reguilon.

Crystal Palace are considering bringing Aaron Wan-Bissaka back to Selhurst Park on loan with his United future uncertain, according to the Athletic.

Despite Newcastle and Tottenham’s interest, the Mail report that Southampton have no interest in selling talismanic skipper James Ward-Prowse.
